I still remember my first day in class, I was terrified. I was the youngest in the room, and I immediately assumed that no one would like me because I’m so much younger. I could not have been more wrong. The second I got up on stage, I knew that I was in a warm, safe place. I happened to have an audition that next Monday for my school play. With my new outlook, I went into the audition with a huge amount of confidence. I was just 
going to have fun, and if I didn’t get in, then I didn’t get in. I ended up being one of the few freshmen cast in the play, and I know the reason for this, is the one class I had taken with 
Peter. Even now, every time I step into the room, I feel an overwhelming sense of peace. I‘m so much more confident in all areas of life; I still have that fun outlook, and every time 
I step into that room, I feel myself growing. Not only as an actress, but as a person.

Peter is a remarkable teacher who is able to pinpoint what is holding back each of his students without derision, who is able to encourage each person's growth, not just as an artist but as a unique and valid human being, and is able to do it all with a ridiculous sense of humor.
